Saltrock's history can be traced back to the 1980s, with surfers and brothers Angus and Ross in Cornwall, UK, looking for a spot to surf. They began by developing an advanced blackout system by salvaging scraps, including a Salvation Army rug and some nails and tape. They soon began printing surf-inspired original designs on T-shirts, and thus began Saltrock, named after their favourite surf break in their home of South Africa.

The designs proved successful, attracting a number of fans with its original and distinctive designs that became the rage among south west surfers. Soon, the brothers could not keep up with demand, and packed up and headed off to Croyde. The surf, community and landscape at North Devon immediately grew on them, and it was here that they finally found their home and the home for their Saltrock brand.

Word has since spread, and Saltrock is a highly-recognised brand across the UK and beyond it as well.

Saltrock has a short and concise deliveries policy, with three delivery option. Standard delivery costs £3.95 and is limited to deliveries to the UK, Channel Islands, BFPO and IOM. Delivery is free on orders over £30, and shipments are made via Royal Mail. It takes around 5-7 working days to reach the destination, although it may take longer during sales and in some other rare conditions. If you are not happy with the order you have made, you can return it for an exchange or a refund o the full cost of the products. For returning an item, make sure that the items are securely packed in the original packaging that the order came with. Use an appropriate alternative if the original packaging was damaged. You need to send the items to Saltrock with proof of purchase and a complete returns form within seven working days of receiving the order. The return postage cost will not be refunded unless a product is being returned due to it being faulty. In this case, you will be refunded the cost of postage up to a maximum of £3.50.

The returns form will include the action to be taken by Saltrock: exchange the items or give a full refund. The products being returned has to be re-saleable condition and contain proof of purchase. In case of a refund, you would be recredited the money into the relevant account within 30 days. The refunds are made to the card or account through which the transaction was made. In case you need an exchange, you may have the shipment arranged as soon as possible. If the item you want is out of stock, you will be contacted by phone or email to arrange an alternative.
